Clocks + Random Dice Generator ?

I've proposed something similar in the past. My (quick) summary:
1) When you push the clock you get a diceroll. If you had turned the cube (everyone should know if your clock was hit because of a cubeturn) you ignore the dice.
2) Device is manufactured by a trusted company and tamperproof (sealed in solid epoxy). No inputs (other than the plungers), no outputs (other than the display screen).
3) RNG is a (MHz or faster) clock.
If you really wanted to go the extra mile you could have an extra button which would cause the display to show a number or sequence of numbers which could be used by the manufacturer to validate. (Obviously the numbers would be different every time, but non-random with hidden keycodes.)
BTW, to prevent a person from rerolling (by hitting opp's clock and then his when he doesn't like the roll) the clock could have separate switches on long cables (or even wireless RF) so that each players' plunger is close to him/her and far from the opponent. (Cables are probably better since you don't want someone else's switch to activate your device, kind of like a neighbor's garage door opener causing your garage door to open. :)
