Addendum: One fault the list has that I entirely agree with is its noticeable time lag. Depending upon how high a player's rank it has taken two or three lists for them to drop from sight once they stop playing. They do drop, else the top spots might still be filled by Wilcox, Sly, and Billy Horan.

There is something you all can do to fix that, more effective than petitioning to restrict someone else's votes. That something is to out those players who are, well, out. Has Magriel or WGR (or me) stopped playing? Post a message. Many of you have posted about who you will vote for, so why not post about who you won't be voting for, and why?

I'll be playing in my fourth and last tournament of the year next week (the Japan Open), and have averaged only two or three a year the past five years. I used to play in maybe ten majors and a hundred club tournaments a year, and chouette another twenty hours a week. Not playing is bound to affect my game. Say so; don't be shy! Is Robertie spending more time hoping for a pair of fives than double fives? Write him up! Has Magriel put the ex- in X-22? Inquiring minds want to know.
