Hi Jake,

I like Rich's suggestion and hope Carol or someone in your group will pursue it. I think that it would be ok to disqualify anyone whose name does appear on the possible candidate list if it was later found out that they were inactive, but the form should say so when it gets sent out. I say that because time is short and another albeit less desirable approach would be to verify if the players that become the new Giants have been active(whatever defintion your committee decides on) after they make the list, reducing by a lot, the players that need be checked.

I met Bill (you mean Robertie for those that dont know) at several tournaments during the last 2 year so I consider him active.

I don't think X is active, unfortunately.
