Giant 32 Criteria

Hi All:
We seem to have gotten off track.
1. The "Giants Organization" is for the most part one very busy woman. If someone has the time, ability, and desire to create a searchable BG database, one accessible by the backgammon community (including the Giant Committee) by all means go to it.
2. Meanwhile, there is something each of can do, right now, that will bring about a much more significant change than anything proposed: go get five people to vote. (Christian, as you remarked, Denmark has more backgammon players than blondes, so you go get fifty!)
Really, why is this not sinking in? There are thousands of backgammon players who meet the standards for eligibility. Let's take a ridiculously small number and claim that worldwide there are as few as 2000. (There are probably chouettes in Copenhagen with more than that.) In the best years the Giant 32 has attracted around a hundred voters. That's 5%! And we have wasted all these pixels worrying about restricting voting?
Maybe we should institute an eligibility rule for "reforming the Giant 32:" Sign up five voters, to show you are serious.
Best,
Jake
