It makes sense, of course. I should know better than to post right when I wake up and I was still in commentary mode from watching the Prague stream.

But it is pretty rare that a lone 3 will come up in a position like this. If you had the 8 pt slotted and had rolled 53 you would just make the 3 point. Most 3s will have another number to go along with them, and 21 doesn't count. Usually you wouldn't have had the bar slotted here but once in awhile you will roll a 63 and play 13/7 and have a 3 left over. Somewhat more often you will have a 31 to play from the roof. That's all I can think of.
