It certainly looks like the cube handling is different in my rollouts compared to the two of yours (about 3 j.s.d. signicance on the difference for the best play).

Now I wonder if we're using the same version of GNU-bg. I'm using 0.14 (with an old date -- don't have it here in front of me but I think it was November 2005).

I could have sworn I told the rollout to use Sticky settings of 12 moves within 0.16 (as DC did) but that's not what my results show.... Now I'm wondering if it wasn't my fault that the seed is wrong, either.

Anyway, the bottom line appears to be your conclusions that Jacoby didn't matter. 'Course that assumes Racc's rollout was really run Jacobyless. Racc, mind running the 0-0/63 score, if your comp has nothing better to do?
