Jake, for you to do so well against so many great players when you play in so few tournaments continues to prove you should be on everyone's Giant list.

I know Giant voting is tough because of the lack of scientific data to really compare one player's game against another's, but in addition to looking at the player's performance, I believe one way to judge skill is by simply talking to the players.

It doesn't take long, in a conversation about a position with most of the Giants before you start hearing numbers, ideas, and insights that could only come from someone who knows the game at a level that most of us will never attain. Of all of these great players, I would put my money on Jake to not only come up with the right answer, but also the best explanation and reasoning behind the answer, in addition to 12 pages of trivia about the color of the toilet seat when he first saw that play.

Another reason I put people like Jake high on my Giants list is all he does for the game and all he does to share his knowledge and insights with the rest of us.

Congratulations on your wins in Japan and it's great to see one of the best players and characters in the game continue to be a force.
