Falafel propped the take side of this position at .95. He ended up losing a fair bit I believe and it's stunning to see how such a simple position, albeit unconventional, can be misplayed by one player or the other.

I don't understand either sentence. Falafel merely bet on the take side or did the 0.95 equity prediction enter into the prop?

Was your comment about 'misplay' referring to a contention that one of the players (Falafel) misplayed the checkers during the prop games (and thus lost equity on an easily takeable position) or that Wells misjudged the P/T decision? Or ???
