Neil clarifies.... since "default" for GNU as almost all of us use it is with pruning on, I am wondering why you turned it off for 2ply analysis and asking if you can also do 2 ply analysis with pruning on in case there's a real difference?

Although pruning on is the default, I wanted to use the strongest setting just like I used the strongest setting in Snowie 4 (Huge).

From what I've seen, differences between pruning Off and On occur very infrequently but occasionally the 0.001 difference can flip the best plays.

I can do a pruning ON analysis but it will have to wait until I've ploughed my way through marking up the rest of the sessions.
