Open Player Survey Conclusion

It's basically one of the things wrong with Bell's book, as I recall from reading it several years ago -- making you memorize yet another formula to plug imprecise guesstimations into.
GIGO.
I think that another problem is that all of the formulas were just some ad hoc thing. It's very different from using something like the Keith Count or the Kleinman Count. The Kleinman Count has a wonderful attribute of being theoretically derived, and the Keith Count was empirically derived, and then shown to be superior (on average) to some other race cube counts. I feel like Bell just tossed some numbers around. Bell made a real effort, but I would never recommend his formulas the way I endorse the Keith Count.
There is some good stuff in Bell's book, though.
