"Let's say there's an ABT event in Bozeman, Montana that attracts ten people. Is that a bad thing?"

It is a bad thing if 5 of those people that went to Bozeman will not attend another ABT event. And if that other event who's bottom line is pinched then needs to scale back the following year, perhaps reducing staff, hospitality, quality of the venue, etc. I pick quality over quantity any time. I am all for growth of this game, but I am unsure whether allowing the uncontrolled addition of events constitutes growth or cannibalism. I'm suggesting the possibility that predators that pick off the weak may be a better way to keep the overall event population healthy and in check than starvation.
