Factors for Tournament Attendance?

Length of the tournament. (Days)

In particular how many non-weekend/holiday days are involved, and if its a west coast tournament, the ending time. (because in most cases, if your flight is after the potential end time of the tourney, you cant get home to the East coast the same day, so requires taking time off the next day)

In my case the bulk of my vacation days are used for tourney's so it becomes a little bit of a trade off. Not using 2 days for the NY Open frees me up to attend 2, Fri-Sun weekender tourneys. Vegas takes 4 days vacation time and I usually end up trading one of those for 3 other tourneys.

Plus, while you cant do anything about it, some of the "holiday" 4 dayers (Chicago Open and Detroit)dont line up with the Canadian holiday, so end up balancing those against potential 3 days.
