Young adults actually - ages 27, 24 & 21. The two younger ones played in the Novice one year.

Actually, I'm not a good example of a concerned parent. I raised mine with a libertarian "do what you want to do" approach. And, they basically didn't do anything. I just remember well the puritanical upbringing that I had. If I had attended an ABT event as a child or adolescent, my parents would have reacted very negatively. They probably would have involved the police. And, I mean that literally. That's why I'm very cautious.
