We need to get more internet players to come both to weekly club events and to ABT-type events.

It seems one of the problems is that a lot of areas do not have readily accessible clubs. I live in the Milwaukee area and while I have found references to a club as best I can tell it meets once a month and is side play only. (And as no web presence at all). This tells me that it is mainly focused on the gambling, and I am not really interested in that. I would pay a modest entry fee for a weekly or semi weekly club tournament if there was one close but I have not found it. (I have considered Madison, but an 1 1/2 hour drive on a weeknight each way is pushing it.)

I also think that more clubs would lead to better ABT attendance as you would would get small groups that would share the cost of driving, share rooms, etc. Having more local clubs would also give us internet players a comfortable level with live play before tackling a more major tournament setting.
