I agree that it's quite valuable to have many good players contribute to this forum with their opinions on the positions that are posted. I agree that there are many good players frequenting this forum and that you could make up a good team from this group of players.

However, I'd be happy to take you up on a wager.

I'm sure I could easily find 10 Danish players who'd be happy to play a team event against your favourite 10 players for whatever stake it would take to motivate players to play.

It's funny that you should post this thread. Lately I have been daydreaming that it would be fun with a Ryder Cup like BG event. I would find it interesting with 10 singles and 5 consultation matches. All matches to 25. All matches recorded and published. Each player allowed to roll out 5 decisions from his match. The winning team would take the purse. If the winning team also averaged the lowest ER, then an added 50% to the purse from the losing team.

Denmark vs the US.

Here's my team: Sander Lylloff, Morten Holm, Mads Andersen, Steen Grønbech, Karsten Nielsen, Peter Jes Thomsen, Lars Trabolt, Brian Elgaard, Lars Bønding, Michael Mik Larsen.

I will in fact back the above team against any 10 players who you can name.
