Interesting idea but I don't think I like it at this time. But just in case get to work on a new Match Equity Table that factors this in.

It would create really weird situations. Say 3-away, 2-away and the 3-away player is 7-0 and the 2-away player is 6-1. If reaching DMP would cause 2-away to lose the tournament, you'd have a situation where if the 2-away player is in a losing position, he must avoid losing a single game and do everything possible to get himself gammoned.
