Othello does exist

In Response To: Why is the "Othello quiz" called the "Othello quiz"? (Klaus Evers)

I met him in Vegas, and it was either 2002(?)* or 2006. I never got to play him, but the other Japanese with him assured me he's one of their best. At the time, he appeared to speak virtually no English. He gives lessons, but at that time if you wanted them you probably needed to speak Japanese (or perhaps some other second/third/fourth language he has other than English). By now he may speak English, too--does anyone know?

*I have been to the Nevada tourney twice, one was 2006 and I'm not sure what the other year was.
