Simborg's Chouette Rule

In Response To: Simborg's Chouette Rule (Bob Koca)

Most of the heads up games I have seen apply exactly the same rules of our chouette, if the heads up is two players of our usual Chicago group. If it includes someone from out of town, the rules would have to be discussed.

We often have heads up play at the beginning of the day when just two of us are there, or at the end when everyone but two people leave, and we play the same rules that apply to two people (you can fast roll when there is no contact; you get your best when being gammoned; beavers but no raccoons; etc. etc.).

Of course, any time two people sit down to play anything, they should discuss and agree on the rules in advance.

I don't think you will have to worry much, Bob, as you would not find it very easy to get a heads up game from people in our chouette. (Ask MCG how many heads up games he had while living in Chicago.)
