I have never seen a player in tournament cube when he knows he can't. This seems more incredible knowing the calibre of the players likely to be at this tournament. So I believe this player was taking a shot and should suffer some kind of penalty.

However, calling somebody a "piece of shit" is worse. The -1 player should receive a larger penalty.

What kind of penalties can be imposed after the match is over is for the committee to decide.
