In Response To: History of Jacoby rule (Tom Keith)

I suspect the rule was around well before 1970, but possibly not called "the Jacoby Rule". Unfortunately there aren't too many humans alive who could document that. There was quite a "dark ages" of backgammon (particularly of BG writings) from c1930 to c1970.
