After two automatics (13/10*, 8/5) we have some thinking to do.

24/21(2) is solid but it does leave Stick 11 shots in our outfield. But if we lift two of those checkers (10/7, 8/5) he still gets some shots and the other rolls which would have hit are decent for him as he jumps into the outfield. I think the safe play caters too much to one aspect of the game.

Another option is to make the 3-point. That cuts down on the returns quite a bit (11 --> 7) besides making it harder for Stick to enter. And there is some "one back, attack!" consideration which favors the 3-point.

If we were going after just one matchpoint, 24/21(2) looks like the play. But we're after 4. Again I (over?)use the matchscore to break the tie.

13/10*, 8/5, 6/3(2).
