My sentiments exactly. Yes, generosity is not without its hints of conflict, and Perry has asked a very valid question, but I agree that at this time it is more important to ensure that we have quality willing directors and staff and the events they make possible. Certainly when there are 1000 people attending major events and we don't have to worry about whether these directors and staff will be inclined to come back and do it again, then I might change my opinion. But for now, the caring and generosity shown by people like Ray is indeed "good for backgammon". And that is the greater good.
