For the batch analysis in the background, go into the Windows Task Manager (CRTL-SHIFT-ESC), Processes, find the eXremeGammon process using the CPU, right-click on the Image Name, Select Set Priority/Below Normal.

This will lessen the impact of the batch analysis on the foreground tasks while having little effect on the batch analysis throughput. I also find, on my laptop, that the cooling fan runs at a lower speed.
