It is clear that Howard screwed up, but EVERYONE entering the tournament knew in advance what the deal was and could make their decision accordingly. Once an error is discovered, however, unless it can be corrected in a manner that is fair to everyone, it should not be changed...and that is where the biggest mistake was.

The good news is that it is only a sad thing that you didn't get in the side pool if you win, and that makes up for a lot of pain. Good luck in the finals. In the past, you've generally outplayed Stick and he wins...so you know what my suggestion is!
