I wouldnt object to implementing a 'one reset' type of rule - not dissimilar to the proposed onetime shuffle.

However, I for one, sometimes like to see what the resulting position looks like - even though I may be able to visualize it extremely well. Quite often, I can find some aesthetic reason for preferring one play over another just by looking at them - without being able to give articulate technical reasons necessarily either. I know which plays I like, I sometimes cant quantify or qualify that either - I hope that I am not alone in this.

I think I prefer Gregg's phrasing though - all plays must be reset to start or go before looking at another option.

Ultimately, I am interested in doing whatever is required of me to play this game at the highest levels, and if that means touch move, or something similar, then thats that.
