54D 33

With 54D the opponent prepares a blitzing active type of position with 2 more checkers in the zone and some priming potential with his slot on 9 (16).
24 up annihilates at moment blitzing prospects and reduces priming chances, because the 21 ancher may already spring over 16, if the opponent should cover.
Further its is clear that the 9/16 slot is the most important slot in the outfield and should virtually never been unthreatened.
In this position running becomes important for the opponent and C must be bad, because it allows running with tempo hit without much counterhit chances after this because the opponent has only the 9/16 slot for our next possibly race active counterhit.
B is better than E because it prepares better our own priming options (our strength now) with builders for the 7,5,4 point and a hit back of a possible escaping checker.
