I feel bad for the Frenchman, Saout. With 3 or 4 players remaining he had the chip lead and was 80-20 preflop vs. all-in with 40% of his chips at stake. Loses. Then he's ~55-45 preflop to get them back. Loses (on the river).

I give credit to Moon for playing his game. If he had won, though, he might have been the least (overall) knowledgeable player ever to win.

ESPN coverage emphasizes luck. I guess that sells advertising (i.e. gets the biggest audience). But even taking that into account -- wow.
