20k/40k blinds, Booth (button) raises to 90k with Ah Jc, Joe calls with 97c, Burt calls with KTh

Flop is

Ac 2h 3c, joe checks, burt checks, booth bets 120k, joe calls

turn 7d

joe checks, booth checks

river 5c

joe bets 210k (730k in pot now)

It's pretty obvious booth had Joe on a flush draw on the flop. He checked the turn to look weak to try to induce a river bluff (if a club doesn't come) from Joe. It's a risk v. reward decision. If his read is correct (it probably is due to the smooth call on the flop, and no reraise preflop) as long as a club doesn't come, an agressive player (Joe was pretty aggressive) will try to bluff the river. It's fancy play, and I'm not a huge fan, but when it works, it usually works big.
