Only one person will have proof if they used bots or not - Alex. Alex could squash this in a second if he wanted too. But as Stick noted, anyone can have a nic here.

Let's reason about that issue:

- Which benefit P65 has from asking other guys to run bots on their platform? More game play gets more rake... so far that makes sense, but at the same time most people don't enjoy loosing and ER 5 is much better than the average Joe so users may be driven away. This argument doesn't convince, at least not me.

- P65/GE is a serious investment. Do you really believe they want to fuck it up by engaging an external person for cheating? A reasonable proof that they are not honest and the consequences will be serious if not fatal for their business. If I would be in the management of P65 AND I want use bots to cheat, I would go to my chief developer and talk with him, not with a questionable person outside

- Who said that P65 paid for developing playing bots? Mr. Alex Lehmann, a person with questionable ethical standards as we have learned recently. A trustful source?

- Why should the use an external bot? They have from day 1 BGBlitz as an AI for resolution of interrupted games and their BG school. Why in the world they should engage an external person for implementing a bot? They have all the know how and SW to do itthemselves. Why ask Mr. Lehmann or PJT?

Other than having sold them a license of BGBlitz I had not contact to them from 2004 until this summer so I don't think im biased in any way.

I have no proof whether bots are running there but I believe the incentive is high and some people I do trust told it to me. I personally believe P65s motivation to fight them wasn't high enough in the past.

Recently I had some contacts to P65, and it seems to me they are more serious currently to improve things, e.g. I got a couple of wired resolutions and it seems they have found the(a?) bug. This bug(s) have probably existed in there for years, but now they seems to care. My impression is surely only an hint, nothing more, but believing Mr. Lehmann's accusation seems absurd to me, and I don't see any compelling argument.
