Parallel in Blackjack?

I know this argument has been put forth previously, and may even be true. I don't know if it has been "tested".

When humans count cards in blackjack, and with certain assumptions about number of decks dealt and depth into those decks, the humans definitely have the edge, BUT, that assumes they aren't making enough X large mistakes that erase their edge.

Some humans have an edge. Some don't. If you let life play its course (and probably with some reasonable table max), who has the net edge, house or humans?
