Patrick was trying an experiment. While I have no issues with slightly longer TC than 2/12, I did honestly feel that the LA event's progression was slightly behind the last one..ie it took a bit longer and more players had to play late Sat night or early Sun morning.

Patrick's event is definately an optimistic format for two days, but he gets it finished. I did suggest to him to go back to 2/12 and also to consider reducing the conso to 7 points from 9 points.

The LA event requires the most play in the least ammount of time of any ABT event, I think. This is not a bad thing, but it does have to be timed quickly.
