MCG -- Ray Match

Well, that might not have been the only one... I know I had alot of ways to play a 33 but no time to think and anything was pretty good... so I just hit the clock and it probably sucked a bit. I used up 40 of my 56 seconds on that one!

My initial cube was probably quite wrong for the score, but not so bad given the time crunch was one sided. I rolled quite possibly my worst roll after doubling and did not cover the ace point... all I could do was hit a second checker loose. That gave you a fine redouble, but then you have to roll the dice and they decided that you should fan on my 3 point board which happens 25% of the time and your goose was cooked.

You just have to make a decision and go with it at some point and that is what I did with that cube. After that, when I thought about a play and looked up to see only 16 seconds I panicked at the mere possibility of timing out to LOSE the ABT Title. How much would that suck?

To quote Malcolm Davis: I'd like to play good all the time, but when given a choice... I would rather win now, and play good next time.
