When will you typically be putting up the new position? Do you have a planned time or candidate times? (E.g. evening PST, early morning PST, etc. I think it's fine to have multiple times but it's nice for the voters to have a few times that we can check in. This is particularly the case if you're going to shorten the cycle when a lindslide is brewing.)

I don't have a planned time. But, if you check in once per 24 hours, you shouldn't miss a vote. You might miss a landslide whose vote has been closed, but that doesn't prevent you from posting a comment, and the fact that it was a landslide means your vote didn't matter anyway.

Black and White is fine, but the online convention is that opponent is White.

This is one of my beefs with the HTML export on XG. Actually, HTML export is pretty much my only major complaint with XG, and I hope to compose an email to Xavier about it. I do actually agree that the Black checkers should be "ours". If this really is an issue, I have no problem with using GNUBG to generate the HTML export, and might just do that just because it looks cleaner.
