I am the player who lost HIM in the SF of the Last Chance and got nothing (no apologies, no trophy, no money). You are confused. I was too at that time. The final decision of the committee (we don't change anything) was meaning no trophy, no money. So I attended the awards ceremony as the last social event in a big tournament, nothing more. It is just one more evidence of the total mess of this LC draw

Yes, I clearly think I was entitled to some compensation for this mistake and for a very obvious reason: I was one step away from the money. And the mistake made by Tournament staff was openly blatant. The previous opponents of the future double winner are not my concern. Yes, they should have discovered the mistake, and they should have complained. They didn't. Let's say they forfeited their right to be entitled to something.

I am still hoping reading any money settlement suggestion. And I am quite surprised that none of the usual TDs (but Chiva) contributing to this forum has shared his thoughts.
