Generally all for the better in my estimation.

The short weekend schedule will be a challenge with the Swiss format but with the first three (?) rounds being pre-drawn; with it being random Swiss otherwise (so all matches in a round don't have to be finished before the next round starts); and with the clocks I think Rob has a good chance of pulling it off.

Hopefully, the Calcutta draws full attendance and participation.

Unfortunately, I'll miss Pittsburgh for the first time in 5-6 years but I have vacation scheduling complications. It's a great tournament, one of my favorites and, with the changes, will be even moreso.
