The problem with making the 5 pt here is that not only does it leave some chances to lose going forward (well that could happen anyhow) it leaves a big stack on the 6 pt. I am not convinced that the 5 pt is best, but it is probably more complicated so I'd play it vs most, unless they are so weak they can't set up well if I make my 2 pt.

Re: your RO. There's no way in hell I'd do a truncated RO of a backgame.
