You've moved White's position back 8 pips in the first case and forward 11 pips in the second position, but these are huge adjustments in White's favor. Instead of R/P, I may be wrong but I think these are both NR.

In the first position, (a) White has a much stronger board, (b) she can withstand better the numbers that cracked in the previous position (particularly 22 -- evidently the actual roll), and (c) Some of Blue's entrances are awkward (21 32 42). Moreover, White can then move forwards to hit loose or shift on the 2pt whereas in the previous incarnation of the position White cannot move backwards to hit an entering blot on her 6pt.

In the second position, White's cracking numbers are again ameliorated, she has 14 cover numbers instead of 1 if Blue fans (or enters without hitting), and she will have a direct shot if Blue enters with 63 62 61. It's "only" 11 pips but the positions are like night and day.

If you're looking for a R/T, I think you have to make a smaller adjustment to White's board in the first position or put White's 10pt checker in the other outer board in the second position (for example).
