Nice summary. And you didn't even bring up the (more than two team) NCAA playoff debate. :)

Nebraska might be the best team in the country. They used to be a powerhouse but then suffered when their coach retired (can't remember his name -- I'm sure you and many others here do). They've been out of the picture for ~10 years but put together quite an impressive last couple of games (that I noticed -- maybe more that I didn't).

Probably going to ruffle some feathers by saying this, but Big East is still a b-ball conference. They're getting better, but not there yet.

BTW, the MAC, which seems to play OK pre-conference (against the Big Ten -- maybe that explains it :) and then have a pretty competitive conference season, really stinks in the postseason. I forget how many consecutive bowl games that conference has lost but it's well into the double digits.

Looking forward to another week, although I still liked the old days when ALL the big and final games were on New Years Day. (Nostalgia strikes again.) In college, it's time for roundball.
