Truth is I am usually too lazy to actually create full-on flashcards. What I have done in the past was either print out bot data (for some reason I don't think it occurred to me to print the position without bot data on the other side, but I just made the position big enough and didn't look at the data below); or I would just write stuff down.

So, for instance, I'd go to a cafe and write down all the opening replies. Then I noted what I got wrong. Then I wrote down all the opening replies again. Etc.

I'd also flip through books like Kit & Hal's New Ideas until I got all or almost all the answers right.
