And speaking of 1/2-length sleeves, how the hell do all those players play without sleeves when it is 22 degrees and blowing 20 (Cincy vs. Jets, for example)? I know they are generating body heat, but really... Is this pointlessly macho or is there some reason for it? I supposed the ball handlers might get a better feel for holding or catching the ball, but the linemen and defense seem to do this as well.
