I think I'd treat the problem as if it weren't one, since I don't think it is. So Luckbox got an early round bye. Good on him, and sure, it helped him through a round, but that was ages ago. Presumably, all had an equal chance to get that bye. Now you have three people with equal records competing for your championship. Treat them equally now.
