Here's my count of the position I posted earlier.

Blue - is ugly with those 5-stacks

16 & 8 points are symmetrical about S1, for 2

from the ace point, make 6-stacks on 2 & 3, and bear off 1 man, for -1(-2)

two six-stacks on n-3 & n-4 = -7

Total = -6(-2) = 90 - 6* - 2 = 52

White

Nine around the four point = a six-stack & a three stack. so 1.2 times the n-2 point = -3

two on on ace is -2(2). Total -5(2)

man on bar = 3(1)

total = -2(3) = 90 -2*6 +3 = 81
