For Lucky Jim's position:

• Blue:
  • After the neutral double shift n2->n3, n1->n0 the close side poofs.
  • The remaining four checkers are two on S2+2 and two on S1+1. Those are convenient enough to add without any further shifting to 6(6)=7.
• White:
  • 2 on n-3, 2 on n+3 and 3 on n0: poof.
  • Then I hop n-4 by -1 and hop and shift n-5 by -1(-1) to get a six stack on n2 worth 2. Running count is 0(-1) so far.
  • Add this to 2(2) for the two checkers on the midpoint (=S1+1) to get 2(1).
