I usually find Calcutta auctions to be dreadfully boring. In Vegas, I don't even show up, except back when they were giving away free money, and you had to be present to win. I showed up JUST to try to collect free money.

If the purpose of the Calcutta is to help make a buck for the organizer, I'd rather fork out a few ducats for a lecture.
