I always try to schedule the latest flight out, 7:30PM is ideal but at times 6:30PM is the best I can do.

If a final event doesn't start until 4:00PM, the TD has made a mistake in scheduling, IMO. I think it isn't an unreasonable expectation to have any final event started by 2:00 or 2:30PM.

Also, no more 'double-matches' to end double-elimination tournaments. I think someone has demonstrated (here) that the math says that a single match is completely fair. The one time I got in a bind was in Minnesota many years ago where we finished the first match just in enough time for me to grab the cash and make my plane. If we needed to play the 2nd match, I would have had to stay an extra night (but I was willing to do so, but shouldn't be put in that bind). I think we finished about 5:45PM.
