The 2 enters. With the 6, playing 24/18 looks a little too frisky after White has made both her 11pt and 4pt. So, while that 6 might be second best, I'm going to limit my discussion to the comparison between 11/5 and 13/7.
In effect you've already brought the 2 down with half the play, and now you're playing a 6. In that sense, this decision is similar to comparing opening 62$ (13/5) with opening 62D (13/11 13/7), and $ is clearly better. Here, the fact that White already has her 11pt probably ameliorates the comparison, but as far as duplication goes, 64 42 exist for both plays, while 41 is added one way and 63 the other way. All that's left is the duplication of a better 61); that's not much difference.
Based on that logic, I have to go with 11/5 with the 6 here. That is, Bar/23 11/5.
This is just one of thousands of examples of how you can build on what you know in early game positions and apply that to similar positions that arise on the next roll or even several rolls in the game.
