Question about time controls

At Biba events I always set the clock to 2 minutes per point with a 12 second delay; therefore in an 11 point match each player gets 22 minutes in reserve. It is then very easy for me to set the clock at any match score by deducting the sum of points already played from 22 minutes leaving me with n minutes. In the example score of 3-2 each clock is set to 22-5=17 minutes.

2.5 minutes per point seems very generous . . . or am I being tight?
