College Course in Backgammon

Phil,

The UW-Madison student union runs a "Mini-Course" program - 4 or 5 evening sessions during the semester, very low cost, etc. I am sure other schools have something similar. Are there any plans to develop something this short.

Here is a partial course description for their Chess class...

Play Chess With the Masters
Price Standard charge: $39.50
When WED 6:00-8:00pm, 2/10-3/10
Term WINTER 2010

Learn the game of chess the easy way in an enjoyable, clear and informative format. Explore the basic rules, phases, goals, position evaluation skills and creativity through actual play. Also covered will be chess tournament instruction, blitz and skittles play and a brief overview of chess history and its current state. May also include guest speakers. 5 Meetings. INSTRUCTOR: XXXXXX, a class A, U.S.C.F senior chess champion with 45 years of teaching and tournament play experience.
