Are we sure weaker vs stronger matters here?

I think it matters. You have to imagine how a weaker player sees the position. Assuming they aren't pitifully weak they will know to hit with aces and if they win that battle they will be more apt to cube knowing their best 3 points made are strong. However, if you sit back on the anchor and play offensively I don't believe they will cube when they should down the road because of the hole in their offensive structure. I also don't give them credit for knowing when to split into enemy firepower. It feels to me that splitting gives them the advantage of knowing how to play the immediate sequence and perhaps easing their cube decisions later in the game.
