In Response To: Congratulations to Al Faller (Bob Koca)

If you lost your second match before winning your 4th, you were out of the tournament (with no prize money return). People with 4-2 records continued for one prize spot. Anyone making it to 5-1 was guaranteed prize money. I don't know how different this would be with a different size field. (63 played in the Open at Pitt.)
